The concept of Litter Gig was developed by the founder Kyle Hughes who dreamed up the idea while working with homeless populations in the inner cities where litter is often an issue. He was inspired with the idea of providing a way for people to do gig work by picking up litter and how this could help his friends who were homeless find employment while also cleaning up the community and environment we love. 

Litter Gig has developed and still is growing a talented team that is inspired and driven to bring this vision into fruition and whose contribution and partnership will share in the expected success of the company and share in the value in making our world a better place. 

Litter Gig, LLC is registered in the state of Maryland. We have a well thought out business plan, website, and domain name. We have hired a developer and have produced a proof of concept that demonstrates how AI can be used with an app downloaded to a user's phone to count and calculate volume of a litter pickup sessions to facilitate payment per piece of litter. We are now in the early stages of developing the app and are excited to see our vision come into fruition. 

Litter Gig is currently working on a funding campaign so that we can finalize the development process and bring the idea into reality. We are also working on narrowing down grants that we can pursue for funding as well.
